And so we wait

The wait time is creeping up towards 14 months from LID to referral. Keep in mind that after you receive your referral its STILL about 6-8 weeks to travel! ARRRGGGHH. The good news is that as we pass our first month annniversary of our LID (8/8) the news out of China is that they are trying to keep the wait at 14 months, possibly little more. Also, they say that things may stabilize better after the people with 2006 LID start getting referrals. Right now they are just starting August 2005 referrals. SO, I'm hoping by next Spring we will have a better idea of a time frame.

The good news is that time seems to be speeding by! I have lots of things to look forward to. My sis n law, my neighbor, my 2 best friends all having babies (mostly in the next couple months). Our big Halloween party in October. And the fact that things seem to be going REALLY well with my family! Everyone at the Trost house is happy and getting along. Tori is doing so well in school and really enjoys it. She is just having a couple of glitches, but we are going to take care of those with a counselor soon.
